because dry ice is solid carbon dioxide which freezes at very low temperature ( -78 C) which means very high pressure we know that temperature is inversly proportional to pressure so when temperature is very low pressure is very high.

it is also known as dry ice. to prevent the sublimation of dry ice it is stored under high pressure. if we decrease the pressure it will sublime & will become CO2 gas
