Answer:

Why are gaps left between lengths ofrailway tracks !? !? !? During summer the tracks expand due to heat and hence go out of shape. This may cause derailing of the train and hence dangerous. To allow for the expansion, gaps are left between lengths ofrailway tracks.

Answer:

So that during the summer seasons or during high outside temperature, even if the tracks expand by the heat they can get enough space and would not clash with the other tracks
