sustainability is important for development because it ensures the availability of resources in future for future generation and for their consumption.
the two suggestions to achieve the sustainability of development are:-
i) we should not waste resources specially diesels ,petrol and all those non-renewable resources that takes so much time to recover.
ii) we should minimise the use of resources and used as required not in excessive amount.
The issue of sustainability is important for development because
It requires preservation of stock of resources including exhaustible natural resources and environmental resources. Recent studies show that groundwater in India is exhausted because of overuse. 1/3 of the country is overusing its groundwater reserves.
(i) Sustainable development is all about judicious use of resources at present keeping in mind the future requirements of the coming generation.
(ii) Ground water is over used for agriculture.
(iii) Water is drawn from wells and this leaves the underground water-table depleted.
(iv) Since water is a renewable resource, we must help in replenishing water.
