A sustainable management of natural resources is necessary because : 

(1) It will help in the conservation of a replenishable resource which otherwise may get depleted soon. 

(2) Depletion of one resource may affect other resources also.

(3) This will also prevent pollution and maintain our ecosystem. 

Re-use strategy is better than recycling because : 

(a) Recycling uses some energy. 

(b) Recycling needs to segregate wastes.
