Taenia Solium
- Taenia solium is an endoparasitical species of the Phylum Platyhelminthes
- It is found generally in the small intestine of a man it affects. It can also be found in the pyloric stomach
- Consumption of uncooked beef causes this flatworm to enter the target's body
- It blocks the passage of food from stomach into the intestine and absorbing the nutrients before allowing the food to pass
- It causes many digestive ailments like loss of hunger and appetite,weak stomach etc
- The body surface of this worm is covered by hard cuticle with prevent the action of enzymes and body juices. Thus,small intestine cannot digest Taenia Solium
