Why is tan(A) × cot(A) = 1? Need proof.

hey here is ur answer :-

LHS :-

= tanA * cotA


put the value of cotA ( cotA = 1/tAnA)


= tanA * 1/tanA


= 1 ( tanA is canceled by tanA


= RHS = LHS (proved)

tan (A) =
 \frac{sin \:a}{cos \: a?}
cot \: a =  \frac{cos\: a \: }{sin \: a?}
tan \: a \times cot \: a =  \frac{sin \: a}{cos \:a \ }  \times  \frac{cos \: a}{sin \: a}
after cutting ,we get 1
