Why is the 2nd ionization energy of Group 1 elements wayyyyy higher than the 1st ionization energy of them?

Answer:

because after loosing one valence electron they achieve nearest noble gas electronic configuration and there is decrease in number of electron hence the effective nuclear charge on the electron increases and the second ionisation energy is higher
