I think there are some mistakes in ur question.. ^^" instead of adrenal gland it should be adrenaline ..cause adrenal gland is not a hormone...! I'm providing the answer in reference to adrenaline.. Hope it helps you!
•Adrenaline is known as "fight or flight hormone.It is stretched also referred to as emergency hormone because :
¤ It is released by adrenal glands under the situations of stress or excitement.
¤ It is also a part of body stress response .

☞Increases the supply of oxygen and glucose to muscles and brain.
☞Increases the heart rate and the amount of blood pumped by heart per beat
☞Dilates the air passages and constricts the blood vessels.
