Agriculture in India seasonal in nature,this is because agricultural in India based on Monsoons,so they are seasonal in nature.

Difficulties for perennial agriculture:-

Floods comes if the perennial is high flow.

If water is not sufficient the crops will dried up.

MOST OF CROPS GROWN IN INDIA ARE SEASONAL BECAUSE THEY ARE EASILY AVAILABLE AND THEIR DEMAND IS MORE. ALSO, AS INDIA IS ONLY COUNTRY WHICH EXPERIENCES SIX SEASONS, IT IS HARD TO GROW PERENNIAL CROPS
