Amazon is a tropical rainforest region and has the largest diversity of the living organization on the Earth.

Amazon rainforests are the home for over 50% of the animal and plants on the planet.

The rainforest has over 250,000 plant species.

Tropical regions get a lot of sunlight which is transomed to energy by the plants using photosynthesis.

This abundance of energy supports growth of plants and animal. Huge canopies are formed which provides shelter to plants and animals.
