Why is the basicity of H2SO4 2?

Sulphuric Acid is dibasic. It's basicity is hence 2.

=) In case of H2SO4 ..

H2SO4 ---------> 2H+. + SO4 ^2-

so basicity of H2SO4 is 2 .
