Why is the bob of a simple pendulum made of metal and small sixe?

Heya!!

A pendulum needn't be made only of metal......wood, glass or whatever!  A pendulum doesn't depend on mass of any substance, so u will get the ssame result in spite of whatever material of pendulum u use.

Coming to the size, the same applies but if its small in size, it is portable and easy to carry anywhere u want to. A simple pendulum as the name suggests need to be as simple as possible, so its small.
