haemocoel is the main body cavity of invertebrates, especially insects

insects do not posses an arrangement of blood vessels such as those in mammals. instead has a cavity full of insect blood called haemolymphy and the organs of the insect are suspended in this cavity. This means the organs do not have a specific blood supply but are suspended in the blood and receive nutrients as blood washes around the organs

The "Haemocoel" is a biological term which refers to the body cavity of most of the invertebrates ,which is filled with the conductive body fluid.

This body cavity is necessary for the invertebrates because they don't have proper blood vessels or biological circulatory system.

Similarly, the cockroaches are also invertebrates and they also don't have any proper circulatory system, and that's why they have a fluid filled body cavity for the biological circulation procedures.

Due to the similarities with the Haemocoel, these body cavities of the cockroaches aslo referred as the "Haemocoel."
