it has tendency to attract electron density towards itself thus in O2F2 fluorine attracts electron densities towards itself resulting in smaller o-o bond whipe in H2O2 oxygen gets negative charge due to this bond order decreases. Therefore o-o bond length increases

Answer:

So, it has tendency to attract electron density towards itself. Thus, in O2F2 , fluorine attracts electron densities towards itself resulting in smaller O-O bond. In H2O2, oxygen is not as strong as electronegative element fluorine is. ... So, H-H bond does notaffect O-O bond as affected in O2F2.
