heya answer is here...

♧Copper is a good conductor of heat.

♧Cu has low SHC & thus it reaches the equilibrium temperature quickly by absorbing a small amount of heat. ... This makes sure calorimeter absorbs or liberates a small amount of heat during the heat exchange.

hope it helps u dear....

Dear Student,

◆ Calorimeter -

  • Calorimeter is instrument used to measure heat transferred during a process.
  • Types of calorimeter - bomb calorimeter, constant pressure, calorimeter.

● Calorimeter is made of copper because -

  • Copper is good conductor of heat.
  • Copper has very low specific heat capacity.
  • Negligible heat is absorbed/released to by thin copper wall.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
