As we know that cell is the smallest funtional unit of our body and this cell of our body have the ability to convert nutrient into useable energy which is then utilized by our body for doing work,

so therefore the cell is called the structural and funtional unit of life .

cells combine to make tissues .

if only one type of cell combine to form tissue then it is called simple tissue .

while if two or more type of cell combine to form tissue then it is called complex tissue .

simple tissue I.e – meristmatic tissue of plant .

complex tissue i.e – phloem of plant .
