Why is the cell membrane important to the cell?
mopi:
The cell membrane is important as it allows passage of substances into and out of the cell. It generally holds the cell together, allows diffusion of food substances that support the cell processes into the cell, movement of waste substances out of the cell and protects the cell from outside forces. It is selectively permeable.
