Classroom is compared to cocoon in metamorphosis by Susan K. Hansen. In some way both are similar. Both act as a protective coating. In case of silkworm, it gets protection and warmth within cocoon similarly a student feels protected within the four walls of classroom as he gets all the necessary knowledge which will help him break all the barriers. Both cocoon and classroom is also similar in a way that it cannot be broken. The things present within it, is hidden from the outside world. But still they get all the aid which helps them in their growth and nourishment.
