Newfoundland region is present at the meet of Warm and cold current, so this region is mostly foggy.

Explanation:

  • Newfoundland is the Canadian region occurred in the eastern side of Atlantic ocean which is the meeting point of Gulf of stream and Labrador current.
  • Gulf of stream is the warm current which originates from Sargasso sea and Labrador current is the cold current which originates in Davis strait.
  • When these two currents merges. region becomes foggy because of the inversion of temperature which eventually disturbs the navigation of cargo ships and this region is famous for breeding ground of fisheries.
