A clear cloudless day-time sky is bluebecause molecules in the air scatterblue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the bluelight has been scattered out and away from the line of sight.

During the day time sky appers blue. This is cuz the size of the particles in the atmostphere is smaller then the wavelenght of visible light so they are more effective in scattering the light of shorter wavelength (blue).
and the blue light preseny in sunlight is scattered 10 times more then the red light
