The blue color of the sky is due to the scattering of light by small particles of the atmosphere.Blue is scattered more than any other colors because it travels as shorter, small waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time.

Answer:The colour of the clear sky is blue because of more scattering of blue light.

Explanation:the molecules of air have size smaller than the wavelengths of visible light. They scatter light of shorter wavelength more effectively than longer ones.Since the red light has wavelength about 1.8 times blue light.therefore when sunlight passes through the atmosphere the particles scatter blue light more than red and thus it reaches our eyes.Hope this helps u all
