Sky is blue because molecules in air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter lights of other colors. Because of shorter, smaller waves of blue light we see a blue sky most of the time. Now what happens if Earth has no atmosphere ::-As because of no atmosphere ,the sun light will not be scattered. As no scattered light reach to our eyes, the sky will appear black to us.Hope it helps.
