  • During the 15th and 16th century there were many Indigenous cultures that were residing.
  • After the Europeans came in the term Latin America. The areas that had people speaking in Portuguese and Spanish were termed as residing in Latin America.
  • At 17th century Roman Catholic was introduced by Spanish people hence they had a large area under them which came in America as the Spanish and Portuguese had the African people as their slaves.
  • But as time crossed in 19th century the African slavery was been abolished due to the fight against slavery and independence of the Africa.
  • So we can say that the countries we see today is the outcome of different geographical aspects and the power of controlling the land rise to the the European States, United Kingdom and United States of America.
