When the fridge's air becomes warm it becomes light and rises upwards creating a low pressurearea at the bottom , then the cooling unit at the top cools the warm air and it settles down creating convectional currenents

The warm air being more denser rises upwards, which creates a partial vacuum and thus the cool air rushes downwards to take over the empty space, thus creating constant upward and downward circulation which exactly is known as Convection Currents.
