Why is the CPU commonly referred to as the computer’s “brain?​

because it is the main centre of computer which controls the working like in case of humans all the thinking processes are done by brain; ; similarly all the functioning and working of computer is headed or controlled by the CPU.. Because it controls and manages all the work and functions of the computer.

CPU or Central Processing Unit is called the brain of these computer because all the inputs from the devices comes to it and it processes the information and sends the output to the device and everything is stored it which helps on the functioning of the PC.
