the degree of a constant is always 0

atifa96: reason?
deepika1789: coz there is no power for the constant as like the variables
atifa96: then sis 2 raised to power 0=1
atifa96: where 2 is non zero constant polynomial and degree =0
deepika1789: 1 is also a Constant and it does not have a power
atifa96: dont take 1 in consideration
atifa96: plz clear my confusion if you can

hlo dear

here is ur answer --

Like any constant value, the value 0 can be considered as a (constant) polynomial, called the zero polynomial. It has no nonzero terms, and so, strictly speaking, it has no degree either.

thank you
