Why is the demand of jute decreasing in the domestic and international markets?

Because jute mills are often failed to supply sugar bags to sugar mills. So as a result jute mills are not getting orders. Government has given minimum support to increase price but as jute price is also sensitive to climate fluctuations in Bangladesh and North West India, area produce 2/3 of global jute. Despite expansion of jute growing areas and in satisfaction of its cultivation, India is not self sufficient to supply raw materials
