Why is the difference between the duration of day and night hardly felt at Kanyakumari but not so in Kashmir? Please answer very fast...

Bcz kanyakumari is near equator and kashmir is far away from equator.... Is it helpful sir. Plz tell and vote too

Kanyakumari is nearer to the equator than Kashmir is so Kanyakumari receives direct overhead sunlight compared to that of Kashmir so the duration of sunshine in Kanyakumari is more than that of Kashmir so in Kanyakumari the duration of day matches about the same as the night. That's why the duration of day and night is hardly felt in Kanyakumari but not so in Kashmir.
