The diviation of wind flows in both hemispheres is due to earth rotation.
This is acted upon by the cariolis effect which act on this polar winds such that they are diviated oppositely.
According to cariolis effect the winds in the northern hemisphere are diflrcted to the right .
Those polar winds in the southern hemisphere are deflected to the left.
