What are the reasons for globally declining genetic diversity?

Genetic diversity is declining due to various factors. In one way or the other, we play a big role in the decline of the number of species around us.

By approximate figures, the number of species which went extinct from 1600–1900 was around 1000. But after that, in the recent years the number of species becoming extinct are on an average, 1000 per year. It is said by WWF that the rate of extinction is right now somewhere between 0.01%-0.1%. According to the data from them, ~2million species have been scientifically recorded. In that case we are facing 200–2000 species extinction every year.

Man made causes play a major part in this decline. Also, certain species lose the genetic diversity amongst themselves. Meaning, their gene pools are saturated and can no more be diversified. In that case, they cannot survive longer under challenging circumstances, for which new genes are necessary. We are accelerating right now at a phase that our gene pool would become stagnant at one point within this century or by next. Without diversity within population of a species, we cannot survive catastrophies. Humans at this rate, would look like a single unified race by next century. That being said, no more new genes could be added to our gene pool. We won't find another new race to breed with. So soon we'll face our demise. It's all a cycle. Maybe new races might emerge, or maybe the existing unified human race would survive the catastrophe and start all over again. We'll never know.

In the declining era of forest degradation..as the forest were cut in the greed of human..who wanted to procure each and every land available for their own beneficial uses.

therefore as the forest were declining the biodiversity present in it also getting declined.
