why is the earth is called a blue planet?


saismruti787: Because life exists in earth only .Also most of is part, that is 70%, consists of water

Because earth is the only planet which has water and on seeing earth from space it looks blue due to the sky's refleation in water making it to look blue & hence earth is called a blue planet. plz mark as the brainleast answer.

Because the earth is covered with 70% percent of water and also it looks blue from the space that's why it is called blue planet.
