Earth is round because of centre of gravity that pulls all part of earth and keep it bound right at the centre.So a spherical shape of all planets are obtained.

earth is roud becoz of gravity , gravity pulls earth into all direction in same sideThe larger the object is, the more powerful it's gravity is and therefore it is more round than other objects. This is why smaller asteroids are far less spherical than larger planets.
