Despite the high amlunt of temperature of the Earth's core, it is the pressure that actually makes the core solid.
There have been studies showing that the inner core of the Earth is actually a giant-sized solid crystal of iron.
The outer core of the Earth makes up 15% of the volume of the Earth and 30% of the mass remains in a liquid form.
Since the mantle of the Earth makes up 83% of the Earth's volume therefore it can be considered solid.
However due to the slow process of convection the heat from the core leads to hotter rocks leads to a slow rise in the convection cells.
Therefore, in this definition the mantle of the earth can be considered to be in the form of a very viscous liquid form.
