Why is the electronegativity of gallium higher than aluminum?

Explanation:

On moving from B to Al, the size increases and the electronegativity decreases, the normal trend. On moving to Ga, due to the poor shielding effect of 3d subshell the size of Ga decreases and itselectronegativity increases.
