Why is the elevation in boiling point of water different in the following solutions?
1) 0.1 molar NaCl solution

ii). 0.1 molar sugar solution.

The elevation in boiling point depends on the dissociation of particle in solution.

0.1 M NaCl will dissociate into Na+ and Cl-

0.1 M sugar solution will not dissociate.

The number of particle are more in NaCl, the elevation in boiling point is higher.
