Why is the father considered responsible for sex of a baby?

Because the baby which is produced gets one X chromosome from the mother but the sex of the child depends on which chromosome it inherit from his father. Like if the baby gets on X chromosome, then the baby will be girl, and if it gets one Y Chromosome, it will be boy

In our society we generally point out woman for sex of baby but actually father is responsible. Because father has a pair of chromosome called X and Y while mother has X and X only. When father's X fuse with mother X then a girl is formed, when father's Y fuses with mother X it produces boy baby. Thergore father have variation(XY) as mother have only X chromosomes.
