Why is the female reproductive system more complex than the male reproductive system? (2 marks)

Male reproductive system only has to produce and nurture the sperms and produce the necessary hormones like testosterone etc. ,But the female reproductive system has to nurture ,produce ovums and product hormones ( like estrogen, progesterone etc.) And also has to nourish the young zygote to form a baby . That is why it has many excess organs for the formation of a healthy baby and also to protect it .
