The main cause is deforestation. Due to this depletion floods ,droughts,etc. can occur.

The process of deforestation or forest cover is depleting in order to fulfill human needs ,their basic day to day requirements.deforestation could result in the disbalance of economy.deforestation could lead to the  increase of co2 in the environment which is not good for humans . It could lead to soil erosion, floods and draughts too.
