Why is the formula for finding the area of a rectangle...
- The formula of rectangle is length*breadth
- The formula of parallelogram is length*perpendicular height.
- Now all sides in a rectangle form 90° and therefore the breadth becomes the perpendicular height.
- So we can say that the formula of parallelogram is length* breadth, but one should be careful that breadth makes 90° withe the base.
