Because it is the most important event that separates early modernity to modern times. It is THE moment when the burgeois truly wins the battle against the nobility. It is a true world revolution which will have consequences on all continents and create the nation-state, democracy (no, the American version wasn’t), the end of divine right, tge Separation and subjugation of the truly powerful Catholic Church, and many other much less pleasant thing. It is the defining event that creates the modern world, together with the contemporary industrial revolution
