Since private companies operate for profit, they are more likely to look at the cost aspect of their investment in such facilities and would aim to recover their costs. Such action may make them inaccessible to a large number of people.

the democracy means the grovement of the people then it's the responsibility of the government to look after the welfare of the people provide all types of facilities are they as very useful.
