Why is the gravitational force more at the poles?

well the gravitational force is given by the formula F= (GMm)÷r^2 where F is the gravitational force G is the gravitational constant M is the mass of the earth m is the mass of the object r is the radius of earth....The force is maximum when the radius Is minimum...We know earth is geoid in shape less radius to poles and greater radius to equator..Therefore gravitation is greater at poles
