gravity of moon is differ from the earth because the moon is very small compared to earth so it will exert a little pressure on the things lying on it.so the gravity of moon is differ from earth.

gravity on surface of a planet or moon is given by:
          G M / R²
M = mass of Earth or Moon.
R = radius of Earth or moon.
G = universal Gravitational constant

Since M/R² ratio on Earth is higher than that of moon, acceleration due to gravity is more on Earth.  Earth is able to attract objects with more force.
