Answer:

heart might be a muscle, but it isn’t quite like your biceps or your abs or your pecs. Those are all “skeletal muscles” and they’re attached to your bones. Your heart, meanwhile, is made of “cardiac muscle.”

Both of these types of muscles need energy to contract, and they both get it from mitochondria, the so-called “cellular power plants" that generate adenosine triphosphate (ATP) for the transfer of chemical energy. Cardiac muscle resists fatigue so well because it’s got more mitochondria than skeletal muscle. With so many power plants at its disposal, the heart doesn’t need to stop and chill out. It also has a steady supply of blood bringing it oxygen and nutrients.

I hope it was helpful for you...

Heart is characterized by the presence of cardiac muscles which continue to work all throughout the life

These cardiac muscles are involuntary and are supplied with blood vessels and neurones

  • The wide network of blood vessels ensure that the abundant blood is flowing through the muscle fibres and supplying the required substances like oxygen and other important nutrients

  • The neurones transmit impulses and ensure that the muscles acts accordingly,in the case to contract and relax in rythmic motion to facilitate the functioning of heart

Since, the cardiac muscles are involuntary we have no control on them and that's partly a reason why we mostly don't perceive anything wrong about these muscles
