It is because we all are living in a society where the dress of a girl decides her character.
We live in a society where women are seen as objects. A society where 1 out of every 3 women is once in her life either physically or sexually harassed.
We live in a society where acid attacks, rape cases are increasing. Not even this a society where even the Constitution says that boys can't be raped. That's why we need gender equality. That's why gender equality is gaining prominence.
