Why is the inner wall of alimentary canal not digested although the digestive enzymes can digest all the material that make cell?

This is a fairly easy answer!
the inner side of the alimentary canal is covered with a protective substance (usually mucous). this lining prevents the digestive enzymes from acting on the canal.
