Hey
It is the human nature that they are materialistic and they are becoming selfish more .
Sustainable development is of such kind whoch ensures the development but not at the cost of loss of our environment .
So , it is necessary because our ancestors left all resource so ymwe are using . That's why it's our duty to leav resources for future generation too . And sustainable development focuses resourced on this .
So it is important to do development but austainability .
thanks :)

The issue of sustainability is important for development because development must be in tandem with the future. If natural resources are not sustained, then development will stagnate after a point of time. Exploiting resources unethically will ultimately undo the development that a country may have achieved. This is because in the future, those resources will not be available for further progress.
