Why is the land/earth called 'mother' and not 'father'? Can you think of the reasons and explain them in a paragraph?

As we all know a mother is known for its always ready to sacrifice and giving everything of her for her kids nature whether her kid is old enough that kid will remain a kid in his/her mother's sight and our land/earth has done so many things it has given us all we need. we always polute it and make so much mess on earth but it never ever stop giving us love and care by giving us things by this beautiful nature and a father's nature is so diffrent from a mother he works alot for us he cares for us alot but he is like a coconut hard from outside and sift from inside but a mother is soft from outside and inside too. thats why land/ earth is called mother not father.

The word Mother itself says it all.... it's the word given to one who cares and nutures for other sacrificing one self, similarly the nature sacrifices it's resources and nutures us with them, hence, it is associated with the word mother.
