Why is the magnetic feild radial in a moving coil galvanometer? Explain how it is achived a galvanometer of resistance g can be converted into a voltmeter of range (0-v) volts by connecting a resistance r in series with it. How much resistance will be required to change it from (0-v/2)?

Answer:

heya..

here is ur answer..

The uniform radial magnetic field keeps the plane of the coil always parallel to the direction of the magnetic field . ... The Radial field provides strong magnetic in which thecoil of the galvanometer is placed. It increases the sensitivity of the moving coil galvanometer.

i hope its help u
