Reasons for maximum density of water at 4°C Temprature:-)

At 4°C, density of water is maximum because at 0°C water exist in solid state where density is less but when we increase temperature, hydrogen-bonding dissociate and water molecule occupy vacant space of ice the volume will decrease and density increase.

#)When temperature is more than 4°C then kinetic energy of water molecules increases which result increased in volume and due to increasement of volume density decreases.
